Judging will have 3 rounds. Top 10 will be selected during Round 1. Top 5 selected during Round 2. And prize winners are selected in the finale.  

Our judges will walk around to view your moves. If you are tapped on the shoulder, it means you have been removed from that round based on categories.

Technique: The dancer(s) have the right posture and are holding their body correctly while performing. 

Performance: The dancer(s) are entertaining, engaging, have a high level of energy, and can keep the audience captivated. 

Presentation: This includes costuming, hair and makeup, and how dancer(s) walk on and off stage, among other things. The quality of movement during the dance is key. 

Choreography: The dancer(s) are telling a story or conveying an idea/feeling, also demonstrate interesting physical levels, transitions, and unique point of view. 

Overall Impression: This includes creativity, innovation, charisma, performance factors, technique, and their overall choreography. 

1st Place: 1-night stay at The Ben, Autograph Collection. Includes parking and breakfast at Proper Grit for two. ($600 value) 

2nd Place: Gift certificate for private dance lessons with professional instructors. ($200 value) 

3rd Place: Gift certificate for a sunset catamaran cruise for two on Visit Palm Beach’s Hakuna Matata. ($120 value)
