The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) supports a vibrant DowntownWPB through grants, business assistance, and event sponsorships. Explore opportunities to improve your property, celebrate your business opening, create outdoor gathering spaces, and bring people together downtown.
Each program has specific eligibility requirements and application guidelines. Review the program details before applying. Funding and assistance are subject to availability and DDA approval.
Event Sponsorship
Bring people together through events that contribute to the energy and vitality of DowntownWPB. The DDA offers sponsorship opportunities for eligible events within the DDA district.
Applications are reviewed based on program criteria, available funding, and alignment with the DDA’s goals. Submission does not guarantee sponsorship.

Façade Improvement
Enhance your building’s exterior with assistance toward eligible improvements, including awnings, signage, landscaping, and other façade enhancements within the DDA district.
Grants cover up to 50% of eligible improvement costs:
- Storefront: Up to $10,000
- Building façade of 25,000 square feet or larger: Up to $20,000

Grand Opening Assistance
Celebrate your grand opening with support from the DDA. Eligible businesses may receive reimbursement toward qualifying grand opening expenses, along with assistance promoting and coordinating their ribbon cutting.
- Grand opening reimbursement: Up to $1,000
- First-year Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches membership: A value of $450

Parklet Grant Program
Create or enhance an outdoor gathering space for your downtown business. The Parklet Grant Program provides reimbursement toward eligible costs to install or upgrade a parklet within the DDA district.

Business Incentive Grant
Currently closed until further notice.
This program provides funding of up to 25% of total project costs, with a maximum grant of $75,000. A $125 application fee applies.
