Currently, public access is restricted to the WPBPD lobby. Organized in 1894 as the “Flagler Alerts,” the City of West Palm Beach Fire Rescue is one of the oldest professional fire departments in South Florida. It’s 230 employees respond to over 27,000 calls for service each year.
