This popular coffee house opened its doors in 2020 and exclusively serves 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Their beans are renowned for being grown world’s highest mountain. Enjoy the rich aroma and smooth delicate taste during breakfast or lunch with homemade delights available every day as well. Owner Allison Boettcher is always there to greet guests. Originally from St. Andrew’s Parish, a Jamaican town that claims home to a stretch of the Blue Mountain range. Boettcher brings the passion of her homeland’s food to this unique spot.

The team firmly believes in providing the highest quality baked products made from scratch from only the finest ingredients. Highlights from the menu includes signature key lime tarts, rum cake and custom-made cakes for any occasion. The bakery is run by husband-and-wife duo Jamal and Nishanee Lake, who both hail from the Caribbean. Jamal is popularly known for his feature on a Food Network Baking Championship.
“At the time, we saw an opportunity to be a part of the growth and transformation that was about to take place in the Downtown and surrounding areas. Downtown West Palm Beach has a great mix of many cultures and people of all walks of life and at the time we planned to open, there was a need for a good bakery that offers custom cakes, specialty dessert, baking/cooking classes and Caribbean treats like our rum cakes and Caribbean fruit cakes.”
Although FIWE is fairly new to Downtown West Palm Beach, the restaurant’s chef and owner, Shari Kedar McCalla Bedasee from Jamaica, has over 10 years of experience cooking Caribbean cuisines. The restaurant was established in 2006 in Orlando, Florida and brought the taste of the Caribbean to the downtown district in 2020. Attaining fresh ingredients is a top priority so they’re sourced from local farmers markets. FIWE offers catering services, as well as online ordering and curbside pickup. Menu highlights include Jamaican Jerk Chicken and Browned Snapper!
