September 15: Hispanic Heritage Month Artist’s Workshop

Join local artist Jose Menedez from 5:30-7:30 p.m. for an artist’s workshop in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month and design your own kite! All materials will be provided. September 17: Celebrating Hispanic Heritage with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Historical Society of Palm Beach County! From 5:30-7 p.m., explore the new exhibition Profiles of Impact: Avanzando Hispanic Business Leaders in Palm Beach County, presented in partnership with the Chamber’s Avanza Hispanic Business Committee. This special exhibition celebrates the stories and achievements of Hispanic entrepreneurs and executives whose work continues to shape Palm Beach County’s business landscape. Guests will also enjoy an evening of music, dance, delicious food, and meaningful conversations highlighting Hispanic contributions, culture, and leadership in our community. September 20: ¡Fiesta! in KidSpace Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

September 22: Across The Florida Straits to Cuba – A Living History of the Buildings Left Behind

Step into Cuba’s rich past with an eye-opening presentation by architect and author Mario Cartaya from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Through stories, images, and personal reflections, Mario retraces six decades of Cuban-American history, offering a unique look at a country frozen in time since 1960. As the founder of Cartaya and Associates Architects and author of Journey Back Into the Vault: In Search of My Faded Cuban Childhood Footprints, Mario brings both professional expertise and personal passion to the stage. October 5: La Sociedad Cultural Puertorriqueña Presenta: ¡Cultura Sin Fronteras!

October 8, 11: Toddler and Friends Storytime Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

¡Vamos a celebrar! Families with little ones up to age 5 are invited to a special storytime filled with bilingual stories, songs, and rhymes from 10-10:45 a.m. Kids will also enjoy a hands-on craft, perfect for small, creative fingers. October 10: Second Friday Book Club (Online)

Join other book lovers every second Friday of the month for a lively discussion of selected books. October’s book is Anita de Monte Laughs Last by Xochitl Gonzalez. October 10: Hispanic Heritage Community Celebration

Get ready for a vibrant evening in the City Hall Courtyard as we celebrate the rich sights, sounds, and flavors of Hispanic culture. This lively community gathering will feature authentic street food vendors serving up mouthwatering dishes, festive live music from a talented band, and plenty of space to dance the night away with friends, family, and neighbors. October 11: Obras de Arte en 3D

Families with children up to age 5 are invited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month through bilingual stories, songs, and play that spark imagination and introduce the Spanish language. Sessions are offered at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; in-person sign-up begins in KidSpace at 9:30 a.m. for the morning session and 1:30 p.m. for the afternoon session. October 12: Music and Poetry of the Soul for Hispanic Heritage Month

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Cultural Committee José Martí presents a vibrant evening of live music and poetry.
