Mr. Reikenis has more than 40 years of infrastructure and environmental engineering related experience in feasibility studies, design, and implementation of major civil engineering and public works improvement programs in both the public and private sector. Since 1978, much of his work has been on projects located in Central and Southern Florida, as well as with infrastructure projects in Central/Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, Central America and the Caribbean. He is currently active on projects and initiatives in Florida, Africa, and Central America.
As a former City Commissioner and Mayor of the City of West Palm Beach, Florida from 1985 to 1989, Mr. Reikenis developed the knowledge and background which allows him to best serve public and private sector clients in emerging markets. He also served on the Palm Beach County Solid Waste Authority, where he was responsible for policy making and implementation of a 2,000 ton per day integrated solid waste management system, and on the Florida League of Cities Board of Directors and Executive Board. He currently serves as a Trustee and on the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, is a Board Member of the Economic Council of Palm Beach County and is a Board member of the Palm Beach County Housing Coalition.
