The West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) and 1909 are hosting an informational meeting on PROJECT-1909 their microgrant program designed to help businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program, funded in collaboration with the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Association (CRA), and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation Fund of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties provides paid expertise from freelancers associated with 1909 for Downtown’s small businesses. The three organizations and some private donors have provided an additional $150,000 to PROJECT-1909 to get businesses the help they may need to survive and thrive during the pandemic. The informational webinar on February 17, 2021 at 3 p.m. will include details on how to apply, as well as services being offered.
