WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 23, 2019) — Indulgence is the inspiration this year at the 8th Annual Pairings: Food & Wine Event happening Thursday, May 30, 5:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. in Downtown West Palm Beach.  Participants stroll along Clematis Street and side streets to sample mouth-watering chef specialties and favorite dishes from area restaurants. Light appetizers, entrées, and desserts masterfully paired with specialty cocktails, wine, coffee and more, the event attracts hundreds of hungry devotees each year. It’s hosted by the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority (DDA) in partnership with SunFest.

Several new restaurants are on the menu this year, including Inch and Ounces, the Vietnamese street food location which recently did a soft opening and Smart Crypto Café, which became the country’s first cryptocurrency café when it opened May 1.  Recent additions to the all-star line-up include Batch New Southern Kitchen and Dr. Limón Ceviche serving up both food and drinks. Sample the famous fried chicken and watermelon and signature keg cocktail “Bootlegger” from Batch, and Dr. Limon’s famous ceviche and sushi paired with marajitos.  Don’t forget dessert! Gelato Love It, which only started scooping in February, will be dishing out favorite gelato flavors including special chocolate flavors for the occasion.

Other popular participants include Anzo, E.R. Bradley’s Saloon, Field of Greens, Leila Restaurant, Fitness Hub Studio, Palm Beach Dramaworks, Park-Line Palm Beaches, and Run & Roll.

While food and drink are certainly the stars of the evening, they aren’t the evening’s only delights. There will also be pops of entertainment throughout Downtown West Palm Beach, including live music from DJ Dobleii and Patrick Monte and The Mark Tesla Band.  There will also be an interactive art installation from Mobile Murals and a chance for everyone to take the perfect selfie at The Hub Palm Beach. Other special guests include Mo and Sally from KOOL 105.5, who will be strolling the stops alongside guests.

Pairings: Food & Wine Event contributes a portion of its profits to West Palm Beach’s Homeward Bound program that works to reunite homeless individuals in the city with their families back home.
