Celebrate Hispanic Heritage: Create Amate Art Grab & Go Kit

For school age kids, K-5. Kids can celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by exploring the artform of amate tree bark painting. Students will create their own designs in the amate tree bark form. A QR code will be enclosed and linked to a recording of Children’s Librarian Ms. Jeanne’s presentation of the bookCarmela Full of Wishes” by Matt De La Pena and illustrated by Christian Robinson. This art kit is FREE to patrons and does not need to be returned.
