New York City’s longest running short film exhibition and touring show is coming to DowntownWPB!

37th Asbury Short Film Concert
presented by the West Palm Beach Arts & Entertainment District

All are welcomed to this unique showcase of world-renowned short films which combines classic shorts from the past with current festival hits providing a rare opportunity for audiences to see elite, international films on a real cinema screen.

What’s in store:
The Quality of Mercy – a multi festival award winner from New York director Stephen Marro. Tony & Emmy Award winning actress Mary Louise Parker (star of Showtime’s hit series: “Weeds”) plays a struggling New York thespian who accidentally shares a café table with the chief New York Times theater critic.

Fait d’Hiver –  a classic dark comedy from Belgium director Dirk Belien. The film was previously nominated for an Academy Award for Best Live Action Short Film. An angry businessman stuck in horrendous highway traffic calls home and is shocked by new developments.

Pickle – Director Amy Nicholson’s documentary examines the complicated relationships humans have with their pets in a film of unexpected warmth and mirth.
