Soul food, soul music and soulful dancing are on the agenda for the Fifth Annual “Heart & Soul Fest” on Saturday, April 22 from 2 p.m.-8 p.m. The festival, a production of the West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency and the Northwest Neighborhood, will feature Chanté Moore, a Grammy-nominated, R&B and jazz songstress with a bevy of hits including “Love’s Taken Over,” “It’s Alright,” “Old School Lovin,” “Chanté’s Got A Man” and “Straight Up.”  The veteran R&B singer, songwriter, and producer has released seven albums in a musical career that has spanned over 20 years, and recently appeared on the reality television show R&B Divas: LA.  Additional local bands at Heart & Soul Fest include popular local favorites Faith’s Place, Zion’s Sons Gospel Choir, and Deep Fried Funk, one of South Florida’s best R&B/soul/funk bands. Activities also include arts and crafts, family activities and more. This free event takes place on Rosemary and 8th Street, adjacent to the Historic Sunset Lounge in West Palm Beach.
