1.”Clara:” Painted by artist Sean Yoro, Clara is a pleasant surprise to a passerby walking along Flagler Drive under the Royal Park Bridge, Yoro was one of the more than 20 artists who participated in the CANVAS Outdoor Museum Show in 2015.

 

2. Hidden Stairs Mural: If you take a stroll through The Square, you’ll notice the explosion of color and large geometric shapes created by husband-and-wife duo Chalk & Brush. The stairwell between Sur La Table and True Food Kitchen is the perfect spot for a photo.

Evernia Street Garage Mural: From Miami’s Wynwood Art District to Lake Worth, Eduardo “Eddie” Mendieta’s artwork adorns walls throughout South Florida, and Downtown West Palm Beach is no exception. In 2014, Mendieta and his collaborative artists created the vibrant murals in the Evernia Street parking garage. Park on the roof and have an enjoyable art showcase while walking down.

  1. “Einstein’s Theory of Love (509 Clematis Street):” This vibrant mural created by Brazilian muralist Eduardo Kobra is perhaps one of the most photographed murals in DowntownWPB. Located in Artist Alleyway on Subculture Coffee’s patio wall, this mural was created as part of the CANVAS Outdoor Museum Show in 2015. 
  2. “The Revolution of the Groove (114 S. Narcissus Avenue):” This colorful mural, located on the façade of Camelot Yacht Club, portrays six revolutionary African American artists such as Nina Simone and James Brown, who used their music to challenge the entrenched ways of thinking at the time about social injustice and racism. This mural was created in 2021 as a collaboration between local Street Art Revolution Artists Anthony Hernandez and Caron Bowman. 
  3. “Yorick’s Skull (201 Clematis Street):” This unique mural, also created by Eduardo Kobra, is located on the façade of Palm Beach Dramaworks and was inspired by the Shakespeare play “Hamlet.” This work of art was painted during the CANVAS Outdoor Museum Show in 2015. 
  4. “Rising Signs (next to 550 S.   5. “Eris and the Golden Apple (333 Fern Street):” This seven-story mural created by South Florida artist Danny Doya in 2017, portrays Eris, the goddess of discord, gazing at the golden apple she holds. Located on the east side of The Alexander, this is a required photo-op while in DowntownWPB.

The 4th of July is just around the corner, and there’s no better place to celebrate Independence Day in The Palm Beaches than in DowntownWPB!  

4th of July Weekend Bar Crawl 

Get ready to visit five different locations in Downtown West Palm Beach on Friday, July 1! From 9 p.m. – 1 a.m., enjoy a free shot from Myers Lounge, 335 Speakeasy, Roxy’s Rooftop and Bodega Taqueria y Tequila, then head to the afterparty at Banko Cantina. 4th On Flagler 

One of the largest Independence Day events in South Florida is returning to the Waterfront (along Flagler Drive between Banyan Boulevard and Fern Street) on Monday, July 4, from 6 – 10 p.m.! 

Activities include live entertainment, the Bill Bone 5K, the Palm Beach Health Network Family Chill Zone, a Military Honor Salute, and refreshments for purchase. An 18-minute fireworks show is scheduled to ignite at 9:09 p.m., weather permitting, over the Intracoastal!

Celebrations at The Ben West Palm – Autograph Collection 

For the first time, The Ben Hotel is hosting a drive-in boutique car show on the front lawn! From 6-10 p.m., The Ben invites up to 40 cars to park on the lawn with front row seats to the 4th on Flagler fireworks show, beginning at 9:09 p.m. This is a free public event produced by Supercar Week Inc. that only requires a fee to register a vehicle. 

Proper Grit, the hotel’s indoor restaurant led by new Executive Chef Marc Rosen, will offer $100 bottles of Veuve Clicquot with White Chocolate M&M Popcorn to enjoy! Plus, the full menu of contemporary American food will be available to-go and hand-delivered to individual cars. The main dining room will be open for dinner and offer a complimentary bottle of Sea Sun wine by Caymus with the purchase of two entrees. 

Spruzzo, DowntownWPB’s only rooftop waterfront restaurant, has partnered with Veuve Clicquot and will be offering several fireworks viewing options with live music by DJ Kristian Caro from 5:3011:30 p.m.! VIP poolside cabana and table reservations begin at 5:30 p.m. and range from $75-$325 per person (and include prepaid food and beverage minimums and 20% gratuity). Cocktail attire encouraged. Reservations are required and can be made online.
