Monday, March 8 is International Women’s Day! In celebration of International Women’s Day we are spotlighting some of our women entrepreneurs that contribute daily to creating our vibrant Downtown West Palm Beach.  Show your support for women-owned businesses in our community!

Blue Mountain Coffee

This popular coffee house opened its doors in 2020 and exclusively serves 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Their beans are renowned for being grown in world’s highest mountain. Enjoy the rich aroma and smooth delicate taste during breakfast or lunch; with homemade delights available every day as well. Originally from St. Andrew’s Parish in Jamaica, owner Allison Boettcher is always there to greet guests. Boettcher brings the passion of her homeland’s food to this unique spot.  

Chelsea Lane & Co.

Chelsea Lane & Co is an interior design showroom and lifestyle boutique specializing in the sale of wallpaper and textiles. Chelsea has over 20 years of experience in the wallpaper industry and her knowledge and expertise has been shared with her staff through extensive training at Chelsea Lane & Co. The shop is home to an eclectic collection of home decor, clothing, and jewelry and boasts the largest wallpaper library in Palm Beach County.

FIWE Caribbean Cuisine

Although FIWE is fairly new to Downtown West Palm Beach, the restaurant’s chef and owner, Shari Kedar McCalla Bedasee from Jamaica, has over 10 years of experience cooking Caribbean cuisines.  The restaurant was established in 2006 in Orlando, Florida and brought the taste of the Caribbean to the downtown district in 2020.  FIWE offers catering services, as well as online ordering and curbside pickup.  

Fun Fact FIWE stands for Finest IWest-Indian Eatery. 

Lara Beauty

The family-owned beauty salon offers services such as facials, body treatments, micropigmentation, waxing, eyelashes and more. Lara House of Beauty prides themselves on providing a complete and personalized experience that leaves guests looking and feeling their very best! 

Oshun Hair Bar

Antoinette Wilks is the owner of Oshun Hair Bar & Boutique. Her boutique-style business provides nonsurgical hair replacements, hair prostheses, hair extensions and photography. Clients have the option to purchase hair; in addition to having install services at the salon. Browse through the formal and casual clothing options to complete the makeover. 

Winston’s Nail & Facial Lounge

A modern nail salon providing an experience with equal parts of style and service, without skimping on the details. Popular services include nails, facials, blowouts, lash extensions, and waxing. Winston’s is open seven days a week and there you will see owner Letticia Hannighan greeting guests. 

Run & Roll

Run & Roll is a running and activewear retail store in Downtown West Palm Beach. Owner Patti Kadis has been serving the downtown community for over 15 years. You can spot Kadis walking her pooch or going for a run around the downtown streets. 

Sourbon Kitchen & Bar 
215 Clematis Street 
Natalya Vorobyeva came to West Palm Beach from Moscow in 2018 with her four children, mom and two dogs in tow. In October 2019, Vorobyeva opened Sourbon, an eclectic eatery on Clematis Street serving frest, healthy fare. The name is a play on the famous French cooking school. Vorobyeva says she knew she wanted to bring her culinary passion to life in Downtown West Palm Beach of the diversity, history and waterfront location.
