New This Season

The clocks have turned back, but I am looking forward to the new season in Downtown West Palm Beach. It’s the time of year when cherished moments are increased, outdoor outings seem to be more pleasant, and well the holiday season just kicks into high gear. It’s simply one on my favorite times of the year. There’s so much you can add to your to-do list! If you did not know, the place to be is in DowntownWPB! Now let’s get to what’s new and upcoming.

First off I’m very excited about the new updates to the trolley routes. I use this mode of transportation every day. It’s free, convenient and gets me right where I need to be whether I’m shopping, running errands or making a trip to catch the Tri-Rail. Being an art enthusiast, I’m happy to see the Arts & Entertainment (Orange Line) Trolley back on the streets. Now my Friday and Saturday afternoons will be spent visiting multiple locations; all while enjoy the beautiful weather. This is a great option when family gets into town. In addition, shopping, dining, and exploring just got even better with the new Blue Line Trolley. I can travel to and from DowntownWPB, Northwood Village and Palm Beach Outlets. This simply could not have come at a better time. You too can explore on this route Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Both routes have a stop at the Mandel Public Library located at 411 Clematis St.

Now that we got the big news out of the way; it’s time to look towards one of my favorite holiday weekends – Thanksgiving! I’m a foodie, so hope you understand. This year I just might make plans at a Downtown location. PISTACHE French Bistro (101 N. Clematis St.) is serving up a 3-course dinner for $55/person and $25/child. They had me at Crème Brulee and not to mention their take on Roast Turkey is simply mouth-watering. That Saturday, November 28, will be a fun excursion because it will be Small Business Saturday so lots of great deals are to be enjoyed and it’s the inaugural College Game Day which will take place at the Meyer Amphitheater (104 Datura St.) from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. I’m ready to shop at my favorite local stores and enjoy a day of sports.

I’m excited about the upcoming happenings in Downtown and hope you are too. Visit for a complete list of Downtown specials, events, updates and more. Don’t forget to take photos and share your memories in DowntownWPB. Until next time, I’ll see you in Downtown West Palm Beach!
