10 ways to welcome 2015 in #DowntownWPB

There are only two more days until we all start counting down the remaining few seconds in 2014. Pretty crazy, right? Some of you probably just realized that you haven’t even made plans yet! It’s okay. Just take a deep breath, add “plan ahead” to your list of 2015 resolutions, and be thankful that Downtown West Palm Beach has something everyone can enjoy this New Year’s Eve. To prove it, we put together a little countdown of our own.

Here are 10 different ways you can welcome 2015 in #DowntownWPB:

10) With free bottles of champagne

If a free bottle of champagne sounds like a great way to get an early start on the last night of the year, be sure to check out O’Shea’s Irish Pub and The Alchemist Gastropub and Bar. Both restaurants are offering groups of four or more a complimentary bottle of champagne with their dinner! Get more information or make reservations at O’Sheas by calling (561) 833-3865 or at The Alchemist by calling (561) 355-0691.

9) Like royalty

You don’t have to be a member of the royal family to celebrate like kings and queens in DowntownWPB, you can just head down to Monarchy. Their NYE Ball event will feature music by world famous DJ Serafin, complimentary wine and cocktails until 11 p.m. and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. General admission is just $20 and a variety of open bar and bottle services packages are available as well. You can get your tickets online or call (561) 835-6601 to make a reservation.

8) From behind a mask

Dressing up and wearing a mask isn’t just reserved for Halloween. In fact, some of the best New Year’s parties in Downtown are masquerades, like the ones Off The Hookah and Pawn Shop are hosting. Off The Hookah’s 4th Annual Masquerade Ball will feature $50 V.I.P. premium open bar, while Pawn Shop’s Black and White Midnight Masquerade will also feature a premium open bar from 9 p.m. until midnight, when they’ll propose a complimentary champagne toast. To reserve your spot or get more information about the party, visit them online or call Off The Hookah at (561) 837-8577 or Pawn Shop at (561) 833-6500.

7) Listening to live music

If live music is something you’re into, we’ve got great news. To make your night in Downtown the ultimate musical experience, go check out Respectable Street. They’re hosting a full-blown concert that will rock and roll you right into the new year, with performances starting at 10 p.m. from indie rock groups such as Beach Day, Snakehole, Wake Up and The Band In Heaven. Visit Respectable Street online or call (561) 832-9999 for more information.

6) With a fancy feast

Seriously, we’re talking about gourmet five-course meals at Downtown restaurants like Pistache and Lynora’s Osteria. Starting at 9 p.m., Pistache will feature a special prix-fixe, five-course dinner for $175 (per plate) that also includes one bottle of champagne per couple. For more information, call (561) 833-5090. Lynora’s will feature a similar offering, providing two five-course prix fixe menus at a 7 p.m. seating for $75 and a 9 p.m. seating for $125, which additionally includes a bottle of Prosecco. For details and reservations, call (561) 899-3117.

 5) Enjoying a breakfast buffet

Everyone focuses on fancy dinners and having fun the night before, but don’t forget that once that ball drops, it’s officially the first morning of 2015. Why not start things off on the right foot with a hearty breakfast? That’s why in addition to a premium open bar from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m., and a champagne toast at midnight, Bar Louie’s New Year’s Bash will also feature a full breakfast buffet from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. – all for just $50! For ticket information, you can call (561) 228-5220 or visit www.barlouieamerica.com.

4) In black and white

New Year’s Eve is one of the best excuses we have to dress to the nines and celebrate, and Downtown West Palm Beach is one of the best places for you to do that. In addition to Pawn Shop’s Black and White Midnight Masquerade, World of Beer will host its own Black and White bonanza to welcome 2015. There is no cover for the 21 and older event and will offer live music and a complimentary beer shot toast at midnight. For more information, visit online or call (561) 833-3375.

3) From the rooftop

As Downtown’s only rooftop nightlife location, Roxy’s Rooftop boasts one of the best views in all of West Palm Beach. It also happens to put on one of the best New Year’s Eve celebrations in town, complete with party favors and a view of the fireworks show at midnight. Guests can book a private cabana for $600, which includes the cover charge for six people, one bottle of Three Olives vodka, one bottle of champagne and booth reservations from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. For table reservations, call (561) 296-7699. Reservations are not needed to enjoy the rooftop, and those who eat dinner at The Wine Dive will get free General Admission to Sky309.

2) At a Mexican fiesta

That’s right, you can take your New Year’s Eve celebration south of the border right here in DowntownWPB at Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar. Rocco’s is stepping it up on the final night of 2014 with the ultimate wristband. For $75, you can rock one around your wrist and enjoy an open bar from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., not to mention a special tequila toast to celebrate the New Year. Visit them online or call (561) 650-1001 to reserve your wristband today.

1) On the Waterfront

The beautiful Downtown West Palm Beach Waterfront seems to make everything a little more enjoyable than it already is, so why would New Year’s Eve be any different? You can take advantage of the tropical scenery and view of the Palm Beach fireworks by attending E.R. Bradley’s Masquerade Ball, where you can enjoy waterfront dining of a pre-fixe dinner and drinks for $85. If that route isn’t for you, you can always spend this New Year’s Eve with Sandi, taking in one of her last sound and light show performances of the season.
